A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
The health visitor is available every Monday 9:30- 12:00 and Wednesday 14:00 - 15:30. No appointment needed (based at Willenhall Health Centre, Field Street, Willenhall).
Assessment and treatment of common mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorder and stress with access to psychological therapies such as cognitive behavioural therapy.
