Patients invited to share views on proposed changes to health treatment policies across Walsall

Patients and the public are invited to attend a local event to share their views on proposed changes to three health treatment policies in Walsall.

The policies that have been put forward for proposed changes include, those relating to sub-acromial pain in adults, image-guided therapeutic intra-articular joint injections and image-guided high-volume intra-articular injections (40mls+) of saline with or without corticosteroid and/or local anaesthetic.

The public event will enable the CCG to listen to the views of patients and the public, ensuring feedback is used to influence the proposed changes.

The Walsall event takes place on Wednesday 23 September 2019, 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm at Beechdale Lifelong Learning Centre (Frank F. Harrison), Stephenson Square, Beechdale Estate, WS2 7DY.

For further details about the policies and the rationale for proposed changes please visit the CCG’s engagement webpage.
