Patient Notice

We are conscious that some patients registered at Lockstown Practice may be affected by current events in Afghanistan.  Lockstown Practice is accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners as one which specialises in the care of military veterans and their families. All the team have been trained in the care of military veterans and their families. If recent events have affected you and you wish to seek help, please come forward.

All eligible 12-15 year old patients who have been identified as eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine will be contacted directly to attend for their vaccine. Please do not contact the surgery to book

You can walk in to Saddlers Vaccination Centre, Walsall seven days a week, 8am to 7pm, for both first and second doses of Pfizer and AstraZeneca - No appointment necessary.

From 17th May 2021, people in England who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 can demonstrate their vaccination status for international travel. A full course is currently two doses of any approved vaccine. Vaccine status will be available from:

  • The NHS App which you can download from App stores
  • The NHS website

If you cannot access the online services and you have had two vaccines, you can request a paper letter from the NHS by calling 119. Only call 119 if you are due to travel abroad in the near future and had your second dose more than 5 working days ago. It may take 7 working days for the letter to arrive.
